At Cedar Concepts Corporation, we have more than a global commitment to preserve the environment – we also have a commitment to make the lives of people in our community better. To that end, we participate in the following community organizations:

Girls for Science: Cedar Concepts, through its president & CEO, is a founding board member of this organization, which provides opportunity, exposure, and mentorship in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) fields for young girls.

Chicago Sinfonietta: Cedar Concepts’ President Linda Boasmond is a board member of the Chicago Sinfonietta, which provides classical music professional development opportunities for teens and young adults.

Science Chicago “Life’s a Lab”: This Corporate Partner is focused on igniting the interest and involvement in science within Chicago’s youth community. Other life-enhancing groups we participate in include churches, schools, and civic organizations.

Cedar also participates in Fellowship Chicago, Women’s Business Development, IL Manufacturers’, Obama Foundation, Bailey Basketball Assoc., Monarch Awards Foundation, Auditorium Theatre Hearts to Arts, Black Ensemble Theater, Bright Promises Foundation, and DuSable Museum.
